TTSL timetable in force since 8 June 2026 (no end date published; board shown until 31-03-2027)
Special dates and festival nights On dates such as Lisbon's municipal holiday (13 June) TTSL runs the Saturday timetable and adds extra small-hours sailings from Cais do Sodré, always announced in a notice on ttsl.pt.
Strikes and disruption On strike days or when boats are out of service, this board does not apply: TTSL lists the planned sailings in its notices and points passengers to the live 'Próximas Partidas' panel on the ttsl.pt home page and in the TTSL app.

Per-trip prices from TTSL's fare table valid since 1 January 2026 (updated 16 March and 15 May). Zapping credit and tickets go on the navegante occasional card, called the Viva Viagem card in TTSL's table. The 24-hour ticket covers Carris, the Metro and this ferry, but none of TTSL's other river routes. Bikes, scooters, wheelchairs and pushchairs travel free. Children: the fare table lets them travel free up to and including age 5, while TTSL's general rules say up to age 4. There is no half fare on this route. All fares in euros (EUR).
The Cacilhas ferry is TTSL – Transtejo Soflusa's short crossing of the Tagus from Cais do Sodré, with an average journey time of 10 minutes. The Cais do Sodré river terminal connects with the Cascais railway line, the Green line of the Lisbon Metro and Carris buses and trams. On the south bank, the Cacilhas terminal links with the Metro Transportes do Sul light rail and Carris Metropolitana buses.
Boats run every day of the week, including through the night: there are sailings after midnight in both directions, and the morning service starts just after 5 am. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays share one timetable; weekdays have more sailings, with the shortest gaps during the morning and evening peaks.
A single ticket costs €2.00. With zapping credit on a navegante occasional card (€0.50, usable for top-ups for a year) each crossing costs €1.60 instead. If you are also riding buses, trams and the metro, the 24-hour Carris/Metro/TTSL ticket (€10.35) covers this ferry, but not TTSL's other river routes. Monthly navegante passes are valid on every TTSL route. The fare table lets children travel free up to and including age 5, while TTSL's general rules put the limit at age 4.
Tap your card at the gate into the boarding room and wait for the green light: only then does TTSL count it as validated. At Cais do Sodré, Cacilhas boats have boarded from rooms 2 and 3 since 15 October 2026, and TTSL announces any room change in its notices. Ticket machines work 05:00–01:20 at Cacilhas and 05:15–01:40 at Cais do Sodré, so for the small-hours sailings load your card beforehand. The staffed ticket desk at Cacilhas opens daily from 07:15 to 21:45.
The route is served by single-hull cacilheiro boats and fully electric catamarans. Bikes and scooters ride free, one per passenger, with room for four on a cacilheiro and twenty on an electric catamaran. Pets over 5 kg pay €2.00 and lighter ones go free; every animal must travel in a carrier or crate, or wear a muzzle on a short lead.
- Get to the pier in good time: vehicle boarding can close before the departure time.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — bad weather, swell, fog or breakdowns can change or cancel crossings.
- Check where to buy your ticket and which travel passes or transport cards the route accepts.
