TTSL weekday timetable applied from 8-06-2026, weekend tables older; displayed until 31-03-2027 as the operator sets no expiry
Saturdays: trial Barreiro – Seixal – Cais do Sodré sailings Since 1 August 2026 TTSL has advertised trial Saturday sailings on electric boats linking Barreiro with Cais do Sodré (not Terreiro do Paço) and Seixal: from Barreiro at 10:45 to Cais do Sodré (arriving 11:15), at 10:30 to Seixal and at 17:35 to Cais do Sodré (arriving 18:05). They are not shown on this board.
Festival nights and strikes On nights such as 13 and 28 June 2026, TTSL added extra small-hours sailings from Terreiro do Paço to Barreiro. During strikes it lists the few planned sailings in its notices; on those days this board does not apply, and the actual departures appear in 'Próximas Partidas' on ttsl.pt and the TTSL app.

TTSL fare table in force since 1 January 2026, updated on 16 March and 15 May. On this route the half fare covers children aged 4 to 12 inclusive and people over 65; it is sold only at staffed desks, for up to two trips at a time. Under TTSL's general rules, children up to 4 need no ticket. Zapping deducts the same amount as a single ticket. Bikes, scooters, wheelchairs, pushchairs and assistance dogs travel free. All fares in euros (EUR).
TTSL – Transtejo Soflusa's Barreiro ferry leaves Lisbon from the Terreiro do Paço river terminal, not from Cais do Sodré. The average crossing is 20 minutes, but the timetable flags some sailings as 25-minute trips: on weekdays these are mostly around midday and late in the evening, while at weekends nearly every boat takes 25 minutes.
From Terreiro do Paço you can change to the Blue metro line or to Carris buses. At the Barreiro end, TTSL lists connections with CP trains on the Sado line, Transportes Coletivos do Barreiro buses and Carris Metropolitana, plus a 1,100-space pay car park and bike parking.
Weekday service is dense at rush hours and settles into a boat every half hour from mid-morning to early afternoon. At weekends there are just over 30 departures each way, and on Sundays and holidays only one an hour until early afternoon. Every night there are sailings in the small hours in both directions.
A single ticket is €2.95, and a zapping trip costs the same. The half fare of €1.50 covers children aged 4 to 12 and also anyone over 65; it is sold only at staffed desks, for up to two trips at a time. Regular travellers can buy TTSL's 30-day pass for this route (€37.65) or the €40 monthly navegante metropolitano, which covers all public transport across the 18 municipalities of the Lisbon area.
Ticket machines take coins, notes and bank cards and run until 02:00 at Terreiro do Paço and 01:30 at Barreiro. The staffed desk at Terreiro do Paço does not take cash, only cards; the Barreiro desk opens 06:15–22:00 on weekdays. Each boat carries up to nine bikes or scooters free of charge, four in the lounge by the bar and five in the bike store. Pets over 5 kg pay €1.50.
- Get to the pier in good time: vehicle boarding can close before the departure time.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — bad weather, swell, fog or breakdowns can change or cancel crossings.
- Check where to buy your ticket and which travel passes or transport cards the route accepts.
